HBL Creative Books: Jalan By Azuladnan Vol.1

At first glance, 'Jalan' is a book about photography. On closer inspection though,it is a book not only documents what goes on the streets but also within the buildings and vehicles, recording the behaviour , culture and trend of a certainperiod of time.

It is also a book that celebrates photography artistically by focusing on the visual aspect of images, be they in color or in black & white. It does not necesarily rely on the familiar or the popular ways of presenting pictures.

Azul Adnan is a photographer and educator. His photos and articles have been published in the media and his works have been exhibited at the National Art Gallery Malaysia and at exhibitions and photography festivals in London, Jeongju, Nort Carolina and Zurich.
